The Centre for Criminology and Victimology (CCV) at National Law University Delhi (NLUD) invites abstracts for paper presentation at the 2nd Victim Support Asia Conference on “Mapping Victim Support Strategies in Asian Region”.

About NLUD

Established in 2008, with a vision of enhancing legal education in India, National Law University Delhi is a leading law school in the country. NLU Delhi has pioneered in imparting socially relevant and comprehensive legal education. The curriculum focuses extensively on enhancement of skills necessary as a lawyer while being confronted with comprehensive social realities to collate education and practice

CCV aims to contribute towards research and action in the field of Criminology and Victimology. The Centre promotes research, training, policy analysis and consultancy in these fields.

About the Conference

the Conference seeks to examine the nature of victim support strategies that exist in different Asian countries. The Conference is a unique opportunity to further the academic discourse on victim justice by identifying, analysing and inspecting the successes and shortcomings of diverse victim support strategies; collating the experience of front-line professionals; and, setting the agenda for future developments in victim support strategies and policies across Asia and the world.

Submission Guidelines

• It must be in English and must be clearly written and wellorganised.
• The participants are requested to submit an abstract of a maximum 300 words in the doc./docx. format.
• It shall contain:

  • The question and/or issues raised,
  • The methodology intended to be adopted,
  • Main points of presentation, and
  • The expected outcome and finding of the research.

• Co-authorship is allowed subject to a maximum of 02 authors.
• All such author and co-author(s) will have to mandatorily and separately register themselves by paying the requisite registration fees.
