About Cyber Peace Foundation

Cyber Peace Foundation is an India headquartered award-winning civil society organization and think tank of cybersecurity and policy experts, having a global footprint. It has been setup with the core objective to work against Cyber Warfare, Cyber Weapons, Cyber Crime and Cyber Terrorism.

Cyber Peace Foundation is involved in Policy Advocacy, Research and Training related to Global Cyber Peace, Cyber Security and Privacy Issues. Key areas of work are in Technology Governance, Policy Review and Advocacy, Capacity and Capability creation and building through partnerships with various government organizations, academic institutions and civil society entities.

Theme & Sub-themes

This international conference is organized with the objective of promoting interdisciplinary research in the area of Law & Technology and to promote and exchange of ideas between the experts from the distinct fields from law, engineering, business, management, medical science and social sciences.

It also provides an opportunity to researchers of the concerned fields of knowledge to formalize their curiosity and to gather the views of jurists, academicians & legal practitioners. In the above background, the School of Law, GD Goenka University extends a warm invitation to the participants to contribute their original research work on the following sub – themes:

Please Note – Papers on any other topic is also taken into consideration, directly or indirectly related to the main theme.

Call for Papers

We cordially invite Articles and Research Papers on the Theme and Sub-Themes from Academicians, Researchers, Advocates, Students and NGOs/civil societies to submit highquality research papers, including field studies. Research papers received for inclusion in the conference proceedings shall be subject to the approval of Editorial Committee.

All the participants are expected to submit their original, unpublished research work. All research papers shall also be subject to scrutiny of an anti-plagiarism software. Selected research articles containing original, critical, substantive, thorough, and in-depth research work, as adjudge by the Editorial Committee, will be selected for publication in Edited Book with ISBN with a reputed Publisher in India. Special Certificates and other incentives will be provided to the three best research papers.

Paper Guidelines

  • Length of full paper – Not more than 6,000 words (including footnotes)
  • Font – Times New Roman
  • Font Size – 12 (Line spacing 1.5 and alignment “justify” with 1″ margin on all sides)
  • Foot Notes – Please ensure that the footnotes are formatted correctly and consistently, in accordance with 20th Blue Book Edition with Times New Roman font size 10
  • Pages to be numbered – Bottom of the page, at the center – numbered as 1, 2, 3, etc.
  • Style for headings – Chapter Title: All in caps, bold, centered.
  • Style for subheadings

    • Level 1: Headline style – capital, bold, left aligned, underlined.
    • Level 2: Headline style – bold, italics, left aligned.
    • Level 3: Headline style – italics, left aligned.

  • The paper must be submitted in word document (.doc or .docx) format only.
  • Research paper must highlight specific research problem/Issue and appropriate research methodology.
  • Every research paper must contain the Abstract.
  • Authors are requested to provide their brief profile with E-mail ID, contact number and affiliation at the end of the paper.
  • All submissions must be the author’s original and unpublished work. Similarity Index should not exceed 15%.
  • In case of co-authorship at least one author must attend the seminar to present the paper.
  • Link for submission of full paper will be sent with approval of abstract.

Important dates

  • Notification for approved abstracts: within 3 days of submission
  • Complete paper submission:1st June, 2024
  • Date of Conference: 7th and 8th June, 2024

Fee

  • Teachers and professionals: INR 2000
  • Foreign Teachers and Professionals: USD 25
  • Registration Fees for Scholars and Students: INR 1500

Note: Co-authorship is permissible (subject to an upper limit of 2 Authors per submission)
