About the Opportunity
We are looking for an Associate with 1–2 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to join our Trademarks Prosecution team.
The role involves:
- Handling trademark searches, filings, oppositions, prosecutions, renewals, and hearings.
- Drafting both contentious and non-contentious legal documents and correspondence.
- Advising clients independently on trademark strategies.
- Managing cases under Indian law as well as international filings through the Madrid Protocol.
- Attending show cause hearings before the Trademarks Registry.
We seek candidates who demonstrate strong drafting, research, and communication skills and have a solid command of trademark laws and procedures.
Requirements:
- LL.B. from a reputed law school.
- 1–2 years of PQE in Trademark Prosecution.
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with IP management tools/software would be an added advantage.
