Some people get the meaning easily by their learning from education, instruction, or by their own experience. Sometimes reading effectively helps to understand the text quickly because the strong reader thinks actively as they read actively and frequently.

The purpose of reading comprehension is to enhance your ability in various things like vocabulary, and understanding the core meaning of comprehension, and the last one is to enhance your knowledge for the same.

Lexical comprehension:
In this kind of comprehension, you will always see that the question is based on the vocab which includes words and phrases.

Universal comprehension:
In this kind of reading comprehension, you will ask questions in which the picture of the entire passage comes as a whole passage.
For example, what is the core meaning of this passage?

Specific and literal comprehension:
This kind of reading comprehension always states detailed questions from the passage, and the correct answers to the question are always paraphrased directly in the comprehension.
For example, what is _____ according to the author?

Interpretive comprehension:
This kind of reading comprehension generally asks questions based on your understanding of the comprehension, which is generally not given in the passage.
For example,
By reading the passage, what is the meaning of the author?

Applied comprehension:
This kind of reading comprehension refers to the process of interpretation as well as understanding the information in a real and practical manner.
For example, what is the reason behind the melting of polar ice caps at an alarming rate?
