Let us see all these terms in brief. Firstly, let’s know about the relationship between women and society.

Women and Society

  • In society, women often get inequality through which they do not get proper access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity.
  • Various movements related to women’s rights like feminism, advocacy for equal opportunity, and equality for women, have played crucial roles in challenging social norms and values.
  • Some issues are still under significant challenge globally like unequal pay, gender-based inequality, violence, etc.

Education

  • Now in this era, women are getting fundamental tools for social mobility, and empowerment, but in ancient times women faced barriers to education and other opportunity
  • Nowadays we can see how the efforts of promoting girl child education have shown positive results which increased the enrollment of literacy rate among women in many parts of the world.
  • However, there are still disparities for the same in many regions with cultural or economic obstacles.
  • The government and many NGOs are still providing equal access to education, and related opportunities to boys and girls which is still breaking the cycle of poverty and providing gender inequality in the society.

Marriage

  • Marriage is a social institution in which the process is always changed over the different cultures, religions, and local factors.
  • In traditional gender role of marriage for women is to hold all the duties related to domestic things and this is still an increasing challenge in society.
  • In modern marriage, the concepts of love, affection, companionship, and personal fulfillment play significant roles alongside economic considerations.
  • Some issues need to be prevented by legal regulation and protection acts, the issues include child marriage, abuse, dowry, and other problems.

Property

  • In the time of historical era women were prohibited from the ownership of land and males often got inheritance on the land legally.
  • Many legal reforms happened in various countries where there was a right for women to get property rights, but still, we can see some disparities in society.
  • If women get access to land ownership they can significantly get economic independence and social status in the society.
  • There should be some legal reforms and another awareness campaign through which a can get right on property ownership.

Conclusion

At the end of this topic, we can conclude here that many reforms have happened to give equal access to education and property, etc to women, but still, there are some disparities in some areas. So, there is a need for some social change through which women can get equal access and opportunity in society.
