OVERVIEW
Here in this topic, we are going to discuss some of the approaches to political theory which help us to understand political diversity and all its phenomena. So, here we will discuss the normative institutional and behavioural approach of political science.
APPROACHES TO POLITICAL THEORY
- NORMATIVE
In the normative approach of political science, we will see that it always focuses on the things which ought to be rather than the actual things. This approach takes Centre ideas on the norms and the ideas of political science, which is not in an actual manner. It always grapples with questions like what rights and laws do citizens have? And what is the ideal form of government and Political parties, etc? There are some of the prominent figures of normative approach like Plato, John Rawls, John Locke, etc.

- INSTITUTIONAL
This approach of political science always deals with the structure and function of political life, with the framework of the governance party. It examines Political science from the view of court, bureaucratic, and other legislature etc. And see how all these things shape the entire state and what are their outcomes in the process of the political system. This approach always raises questions like what are the different forms of institutional government? How do they interact with each other? Etc. Some philosophers who support it are Niccolo Machiavelli, James Madison, etc.

- BEHAVIORAL
The last approach of political science which is the behavioural approach always emphasizes the behaviour of people in shaping Political realities. It takes a look at scientific things such as how people of a state take part in making decisions in Political arenas, and other actions for Political systems. The behavioural approach raises questions like how the psychological factors led emphasis on Political decision, etc. Some of the leaders who support the behavioural approach are Robert Dahl and other contemporary scholars.

CONCLUSION
So, here we have learned that all these distinctive approaches to political theory are not mutually exclusive. Political theories are often used to investigate through these combinations of approaches. Sometimes theorists might use the normative approach to investigate the institutional approach and also the behavioural approach used to understand the nature of human beings behind any purpose of their reforms, and other issues. So, by using all approaches it gives us a rich and proper understanding of evolving Political science and its revolution.
