National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, established in 1986, is India’s first National Law. Centre for Environmental Law, Education, Research and Advocacy (CEERA), based at NLSIU, was founded in 1997. CEERA has been instrumental in advancing environmental law research and advocacy both nationally and internationally.
